behind my eyelids is me, Nate "KnewBalance" Whitsell, fumbling around with my identity, my writing, rapping, recording, and mixing skills (or lack thereof). It was recorded in a little closet underneath a staircase in the wee hours of the morning while my pregnant wife slept, or with my newborn first son, Kai, sitting in my lap or on my chest. It is a journeyman's album, a hobbyists piece of art. I am so thankful for the season that birthed my first solo project. I hope you enjoy something here in a real and substantial way.
